Planet Shockmolt
Omnibus 1 - 001-010

001 - Immigration. 01.04-2118. A spaceport on planet Shockmolt. Immigration control. In the queue: a saint from Slattern, two sarcous monks from the Misotheist nebula, and a swarm of Psychosuomians. The guard at the gate, wrists thicker than my thighs, turns me away. "Read the sign mate: No Ultracrepidarians".

002 - Politics. 01.04-2118. Democracy. Infinicameral system. Legislatures for psychosycophants of every species, subspecies, parasite, hybrid, synthetic, transtemporal, polyspatial, mutant entity. They debate inanely before agreeing to delegate decision-making to an exascale supercomputer.  Supplemental: "Let us never forget that government is ourselves and not an alien power over us." Fared Kill-Nonvoters, President of the Rooseveltians, Address given at Atom Heir, Iota, Planet Shockmolt, Stardate 08.07-2038.

003 - International relations. 01.04-2118. Stardate 2037. Resolution of the territorial dispute between Serial-1 and Spatial Nine. The former agreed to liquefy and populate the River Jonine whilst the diasporic Spatials synthesized into solids. The so-called "two-state solution".

004 - Religion. 01.04-2118. The Virgivamps of Slattern are characterized by hypermobility and passive aggressive proselytizing. They weep strategically. The tears repel nonbelievers and catalyze molecular mutation among converts. Virgivamps constantly revise their sacred texts.

005 - Environment. 02.04-2118. Geography. Each pole has a temperature of absolute zero. The northern and southern extremities are inhabited by Hagedorns and Plancks respectively. These superheated lifeforms are forever complaining about the chilly weather. Bipolar disorder is a major problem.

006 - Economics. 02.04-2118. The Swiftarians of Jonation practice perverse taxation: "From each according to her poverty, to each according to his greed" (Mr Ax Lark 2075). Offspring of solo entities are harvested and sold to the Volups of Sybar. Child Credits are tax-deductible.

007 - Commerce. 02.04-2118. Depression is rife among the Commodity Whores of Amazan Bay. Subliminal Fulfilment technology ensures acquisition precedes conscious thought. Co-Hoes detox using multiple retail therapies. Nirvana is a shopping cart featuring solely out-of-stock goods.

008 - Tech. News. Stardate 02.04-2118. A sentient hovercar denied being responsible for the crash that killed tech entrepreneur, Ewe Burr. Experts agreed that it was a classic case of organic failure. "It's deadly when drivers awake at the wheel", said a police spokesbeing.

009 - Civil rights. 03.04-2118. A semi-cent ago, landmark legislation officially recognised Transcendentals as "real not rooted; irrational yet polynormative": ShoM Code 3.14159265. Transcendents of the Founding Integers will bake a commemorative pie to enumerate the anniversary.

010 - Culture. 04.04-2118. A one-being retrospective devoted to Lord Aeon has opened at the Geigerheim. It features the 3D painter's most famous work, including the enigmatic satellite portrait, "Moon A (lesser)", the gibbous skies of which are said to follow one around the zoom.

Parasitoid    "A parasite that always ultimately destroys its host" (Oxford English Dictionary)

        I live off you
        And you live off me
        And the whole world
        Lives off everybody
